CATALOG
Six satellite platforms spanning CubeSat to advanced mission class. Every bus engineered in-house, tested to flight heritage, and available as a hosted service or customer-owned spacecraft.

OX-CUBE
The OX-Cube standardizes the CubeSat form factor for rapid development and launch. Available in 1U, 3U, 6U, and 12U configurations, the platform offers plug-and-play payload interfaces, on-board computer, UHF/VHF radio, and optional S-band downlink. Designed for universities, research institutions, and commercial technology demonstrations.

OX-NANO
The OX-Nano bridges the gap between CubeSat simplicity and full operational capability. A rigid, thermally stable bus with precision attitude control, deployable solar panels, and a high-bandwidth S/X-band communications stack. Ideal for AIS vessel tracking, maritime surveillance, ADS-B aircraft monitoring, and low-resolution Earth observation.

OX-SCOUT
OX-Scout is a versatile small satellite platform for medium-complexity operational missions. A three-axis stabilized bus with fine pointing optics support, deployable large-area solar arrays, and dual X/Ka-band radio systems. Supports rideshare on Vanguard-1 or dedicated launch on Vanguard-2 Heavy for multi-satellite constellation builds.

OX-OBSERVER
OX-Observer is purpose-built for high-resolution Earth observation. The bus delivers exceptional pointing stability (<0.02°), a large optical payload bay, and a dedicated 1.2 Gbps Ka-band downlink optimized for rapid image delivery. Supports optical, multispectral, hyperspectral, and SAR payloads. Customers receive imagery through OrbEX's global ground network or direct to their own ground stations.

OX-RELAY
OX-Relay is a high-throughput communications satellite platform designed for LEO and MEO broadband constellations. Features a phased-array antenna system, inter-satellite optical links, and a software-defined radio architecture allowing in-orbit reconfiguration. Supports direct-to-device services, backhaul, and M2M / IoT networks at scale.

OX-PRIME
OX-Prime is OrbEX's flagship satellite platform for complex, multi-payload, or government-class missions. Full propulsion suite for orbit raising and station-keeping, dual-redundant avionics, and a mission-configurable payload bay. Compatible with Vanguard-2 Heavy and Vanguard-3 Super Heavy. Designed for 10+ year mission life with extensive radiation shielding.

END-TO-END SATELLITE SERVICES
Bus & Payload Integration
Standardized mechanical and electrical interfaces for fast payload integration. Our team handles mechanical mounting, electrical routing, thermal management, and RF compatibility testing.
Launch Manifest Priority
OrbEX satellite customers receive priority access to Vanguard launch slots. Rideshare on Vanguard-1 for small platforms; dedicated or co-manifest on Vanguard-2 Heavy for larger buses.
Ground Network Access
Global S/X/Ka-band ground station network with 12+ contact stations. Up to 8 passes per day at LEO. Data delivered via secure API or SFTP within minutes of downlink.
Mission Operations
24/7 spacecraft health monitoring, anomaly response, and orbit maintenance. Customers access live telemetry and mission data through the OrbEX Client Portal.
Constellation Architecture
Multi-satellite constellation design, inter-satellite link coordination, and phased deployment planning. We scale from a single satellite to 50+ node networks.
Responsible Deorbit
All OrbEX satellites include a deorbit plan compliant with the 25-year rule. Active deorbit propulsion is standard on Scout class and above.
Customer-Owned Spacecraft
Purchase an OX platform and own your satellite outright. OrbEX integrates your payload, launches the spacecraft, and provides optional operations support. Full IP ownership remains with the customer.
Satellite as a Service
OrbEX owns and operates the spacecraft. Customers pay per unit of capacity — data volume, downlink bandwidth, or payload operating hours. No capital investment in hardware.
FIND YOUR PLATFORM
From a 1U CubeSat to a 400 kg advanced mission bus — our team will help you select the right platform and mission architecture.
